(We are#27 in 2010)Job OverviewThe Financial Analyst is responsible for monitoring Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting activities and ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial reporting and management reports.ResponsibilitiesMonitor payables process with global shared services teamCo-ordinate with Vendors for open itemsReview agreements and contracts and ensure payments are as per agreements and contractsReview Inventory valuation and related COGS calculationsProject reporting and Asset capitalizationAssist in monthly and quarterly Closing and reporting of US entities as per Indian GAAPReview B/S and P&L GL accounts and recommend corrective/ provision entriesReview B/S accounts schedules viz. Intercompany, Fixed Assets, provisions, and other assets/liabilitiesBudget preparation and periodic variance reporting Audit support and provide the required information and schedules for Audit and consolidation team.Other MIS as per management requirementsQualifications - Skills & RequirementsGeneral computer proficiency and advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office applications Excellent record keeping and organizational skillsMust work well with others in a team-based environmentExcellent and professional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to meet accelerated timelines and manages priorities as necessaryPreferably with knowledge of ERP software, Oracle/SAP.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/ AccountingCompensationMinUSD $25.00/Hr.MaxUSD $32.00/Hr.Physical RequirementsOFFICE POSITION - While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: Stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work Light to moderate lifting is required Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
