Our team focuses on designing, and deploying body cameras, in-car video systems, and digital evidence management systems (backend software) for Government and Public Safety customers.\n\nJob Description\n\nThe Sr Engineer - Systems Design & Implementation will serve as the primary technical leader and solution owner for the implementation of complex public safety software, including body cameras, in-car video, and real-time command center systems. This role requires an expert engineer who can bridge the gap between high-level system design and on-site deployment, ensuring seamless integration of wireless infrastructure and evidence management solutions for our critical public safety clients.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nImplement body cameras, in-car video systems, digital evidence management systems, and real time command center software.\n\nResponsible for being the technical solution owner of a project.\n\nProvide system as-built documentation.\n\nIdentify interface requirements and solicit system implementation team for design\n\nConduct customer facing technical requirements discovery sessions for system configuration (Conference Call or In Person)\n\nBuilds relationships with sales, project managers, internal engineering, product, and key technical subject matter expert teams within the organization\n\nAbility to provide customer product training (both in-person and virtual)\n\nSurvey, design, install and maintain the infrastructure supporting wireless communications systems at Client site\n\nRequirements:\n\n4+ years of Public Safety software application system implementation experience\n\nComputer hardware sizing, configuration and implementation experience\n\nTCP/IP computer networking and design experience (wired and wireless)\n\nAbility to pass a background check and/or security clearance for a customer as necessary\n\nLTE Network Modem/Router background\n\nTechnical writing experience and the ability to deliver technical information to a nontechnical audience\n\nBasic knowledge of Radio Voice Communications Networks\n\nBasic knowledge of Motorola Solutions Public Safety Applications\n\nKnowledge of Public Safety operations\n\nThis position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's \"Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy\" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.\n\nTarget Base Salary Range: $90,000 - 100,000 USD\n\nConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
