Here, you’ll help us build architectures that support driving change in the world, from electing Democrats to combating hunger globally. No two days will be exactly alike as you develop runbooks, collaborate with the development team to construct automations, and find new ways to “build it better”. This role reports to the Director of Infrastructure Engineering.\n\nYou’ll join an engineering team that is deeply devoted to inclusion and your personal growth. Let’s go!\n\nSuccessful candidates will be responsible for:\nJoining each and every one of your colleagues in creating an inclusive workspace;\nParticipating in day-to-day management of infrastructure components, including the implementation of security best practices;\nCreating and maintaining automations for: CI/CD pipelines, drift maintenance, and testing;\nDeveloping system runbooks and other documentation to aid business continuity, developer usability, and disaster recovery readiness;\nParticipating in the construction of a comprehensive monitoring solution that spans multiple applications and architectures, including tracking uptime, application errors, security alerts, and configuration issues;\nResponding as a team to infrastructure outages and security alerts; and\nMaintaining technical compliance with security frameworks, including SOC-2 and HIPAA.\nMust-have qualifications:\nA background in programming - you understand what makes webapps tick and the typical developer workflow;\nScripting experience in Bash or Python - when things need to be automated, you can do so quickly;\nProficiency working with Linux;\nDemonstrated experience using an Infrastructure as Code language (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible);\nKnowledge of a CI/CD platform (GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub Actions); and\nHands-on experience working with AWS.\nNice-to-have qualifications:\nWorking experience in Terraform;\nFamiliarity with Azure Cloud;\nExperience with GitHub Actions;\nKnowledge of monitoring tooling; and\nExperience with SOC-2, HIPAA, or other security frameworks.\nSalary range for this role is $80,000 to $95,000 per year, depending on experience.\n\nThis position is included in a union-represented collective bargaining unit, and specific employment terms and conditions are subject to collective bargaining.\n\nLocation\nWe are currently working remotely with no return to office date.
