The salary range of this position is $80,000.00 - $110,000.00, and is commensurate with experience. Our state-of-the-art laboratories are equipped to work seamlessly together, enabling comprehensive testing and evaluation of aircraft and weapons systems across the Department of Defense. With IBST at the helm, we're not just preparing for the future but shaping it.\n\nA typical day as a Software Developer (ECSTIM)-Junior may include:\n\nDevelops software related to closed-loop radar simulators and other Electronic Warfare (EW) modeling and simulation\nDevelops analytics software to extract data from closed-loop radar simulators supporting customer testing objectives\nDevelops software in C++ using Qt\nDevelops and uses data analysis script with Python or MATLAB to assist customers in getting the data that supports their test objectives\nWorks with SMEs using EWIRDB and other EW models to develop and troubleshoot existing systems\nWorks with SMEs to capture and analyze data\nMust-haves:\n\nBS Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; Degrees in Engineering, Math and Physics may qualify\n2 years of relevant work experience\n2 years of experience with scripting and analytics using C++\nExperience using Python and MATLAB\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance\nDesired Skills:\n\nExperience with Linux\nExperience with Qt\nSkills Crucial to Success at AMEWAS:\nCandidates must have a customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism and discretion, and have the ability to work effectively with both management, and as part of a team, to meet project targets.\n\nPhysical Environment and Working Conditions:\nThe physical environment requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.\n\nThe employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. In some occasions, the employee may be required to report to offices or buildings near the work site.
