Responsible for all activities occurring in the Shared Pharma division including supply chain, distribution/cold storage, transportation, inventory control, maintenance and regulatory compliance. Provides an environment which ensures compliance with cGMP, Health and Safety, and all other applicable local, state and federal regulations.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.\n\nMonitors policies and practices to ensure compliance\nInterprets and applies regulatory requirements\nVendor relations and negotiations\nReports on daily production, personnel and quality statistics\nReviews and approves all operational SOP’s, operational deviations, and corrective actions\nReviews and approves reports, plans and schedules\nFacilitate and maintain departmental training records\nAble to navigate WMS\nMonitors overall production and accuracy, ensuring production and customer requirements are met.\nImplements new ideas in order to refine business and regulatory management processes\nPrepare and mange projects\nStrong interpersonal/communication skills\nAbility to confront and resolve conflict and lead efforts to resolve critical situations\n\nMISCELLANEOUS DUTIES\nSpecial Projects Assist in companywide activities associated with the department.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nYes.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Minimum 10 years of operational management including minimum 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Past supervisory experience a must. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated competence in critical thinking and problem-solving skills, decision making, strategic planning and people management. MS, WMS experience.\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and correspondence.\n\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to physically count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.\n\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to define problems establishes facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
