{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"36d3518cc0fd2503edfdcec0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/36d3518cc0fd2503edfdcec0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/36d3518cc0fd2503edfdcec0","title":"CNC Programmer","description":"Apply for tomorrow’s opportunity today, with Volt!\n\nVolt is immediately hiring CNC Programmer in Irwin, PA.\n\nAs a CNC Programmer, you will:\n\nCNC Programming\n\nCreate, modify, and maintain CNC programs using Esprit CAM software.\nDevelop efficient machining strategies for CNC milling and turning operations.\nProgram multi-axis CNC mills, lathes, and turning centers.\nGenerate and optimize tool paths to maximize machining efficiency, quality, and tool life.\nCreate setup documentation, tooling lists, and machining instructions for production personnel.\nEstablish machining processes for new products and engineering changes.\nProcess Development & Optimization\nAnalyze part geometry, tolerances, materials, and customer requirements to determine the most effective machining methods.\nRecommend tooling, fixturing, and machining improvements to increase productivity and reduce cycle times.\nContinuously improve CNC programming techniques and machining processes.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport prototype, development, and production machining projects.\n\nTechnical Responsibilities\n\nInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, specifications, and GD&T requirements.\nVerify program accuracy through simulation, testing, and machine prove-outs.\nTroubleshoot CNC programs, machine setup issues, tooling problems, and machining processes.\nWork with machinists and operators to resolve production challenges and improve process efficiency.\nAssist in establishing machining standards and best practices.\nSupport implementation of new equipment, tooling, and manufacturing technologies.\n\nThis is a Full time, Direct Hire opportunity.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nAssociate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Machine Tool Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education, technical training, and CNC programming experience will be considered.\nMinimum of 3–5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.\nExperience programming multi-axis CNC mills and lathes required.\nExperience with Esprit CAM software strongly preferred.\nExperience in precision machining, valve manufacturing, or complex industrial components preferred.\n\nPay Range: $35.00 - $38.00 Per hour\n\n*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.\n\nQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
