Quality Control Specialist IThe Quality Control Specialist I is responsible for ensuring products meet established quality standards and specifications within our production facility. This role involves inspecting, testing, and monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with both company and customer requirements. The specialist works closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, maintain accurate documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.This position is expected to run from May through the end of August, with the potential to become a permanent role.Responsibilities:Perform inspections and testing on incoming materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specificationsIdentify defects or deviations and communicate findings to the appropriate teamsCollaborate with production and quality teams to investigate and resolve issuesApprove or reject materials and products based on established quality standardsMaintain accurate records and enter data into spreadsheets and databasesPull and manage inventory manually or using a forkliftUpdate and maintain quality procedures as neededSupport continuous improvement initiativesMaintain 6S standards within assigned areasQualifications:Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workExcellent organizational and time-management skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to follow and enforce fulfillment guidelines and best practicesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyPreferred:Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance roleFamiliarity with print production software and equipment (e.g., Fiery Command WorkStation, Adobe Creative Suite)Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand for extended periods
