IBC's focus is to be customer centric and strive to provide excellent customer experience.Job Summary:Under the guidance of the Corporate Area Sales Manager and a specific assigned Mentor, the Retail Manager Trainee position is assigned a branch and ensures staff is effectively conducting multiple branch operations and processes while providing superior customer service incorporating the IBC Experience. Strategizes to ensure branch meets the company growth and retention goals. Develops and promotes good community relationships. Duties will be completed parallel to classroom training to support and develop individual competencies.Essential Job Functions:Manage branch staff and establish expectations for individual and staff performance.Plan and execute sales activities to meet branch deposit growthPerform successfully to the Deposit Growth and Sales Performance Goals (TSA and Referral Programs)Sustain customer relationships with face to face meetings, phone calls, lobby, and outreach activitiesOrganize branch promotions internally and externally to promote bank products and servicesEstablish community relationshipsActively engage in various bank meetingsFacilitate daily huddles and weekly sales meetingsParticipate in corporate and market initiatives as neededDevelop employees and facilitate by coaching, instructing, and mentoringEnsure staff retentionShadow hiring process and employee terminationsTimely management of all branch administration job functionsManage the maintenance of office equipment, supplies and branch imageProvide approvals for Market retail customer portfolio adhering to Bank PoliciesOther duties as assignedSkills:Critical ThinkingFocus on ResultsManagement of Personnel ResourcesInstructingLeadershipOrganizationPlanningSound Decision MakingService OrientationFocus on QualityPromotes TeamworkSensitivity to GuidelinesGood Oral and Written CommunicationFocus on SalesStress ManagementEducation & Experience:High School diploma or GED equivalentSome college, preferredRetail Management experience required
