This hybrid role balances remote flexibility with targeted in-office collaboration at our Indianapolis location.\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee and direct full-cycle outsourced accounting functions for a diverse portfolio of business clients.\nPrepare, review, and analyze complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.\nAct as the strategic financial partner for clients, advising them on cash flow, budgeting, internal controls, and growth strategies.\nGuide and review the work of supporting accounting staff to ensure accuracy and deadline compliance.\nLead onboarding processes for net-new clients, designing and implementing tailored cloud accounting workflows.\nCoordinate with internal tax and wealth management teams to provide a unified client experience.\nQualifications\nProven experience working as an outsourced controller, virtual CFO, or senior-level CAS professional within a public accounting firm.\nStrong expertise in full-cycle accounting, financial statement analysis, management reporting, and month-end close.\nAdvanced proficiency utilizing modern cloud accounting tech stacks (such as QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, or Bill.com).\nExceptional advisory skills with a track record of explaining financial concepts clearly to business owners.\nAbility to work effectively in a hybrid setting, split between remote work and our Indianapolis office.\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
