Casual Hotel Breakfast Restaurant Cook(Weekends only)
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a casual dining restaurant and experience in food preparation.
This position is Saturday and Sunday mornings only!
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meets the restaurant's expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook or relevant position in a kitchen setting
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus
