Travel is also required while supporting multiple locations 10% of the time***\nHow you’ll make an impact:\nSystems Engineer professional with hands-on experience supporting server hardware, network, and other data center critical infrastructure.\nBuild and deploy both physical and virtual servers for production and non-production environments.\nBreak-fix and troubleshooting for Server, Network, and Storage hardware\nAble to create and maintain Wiki / Documentation\nAbility to troubleshoot issues independently\nAbility to lift 50lbs if necessary\nReliable for after-hours on-call support, as part of a team rotation\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nWe could be a match if:\nYou bring at least five years of professional relevant in-field experience working onsite at a data center and or a System Engineer role.\nExperience using AI tools such as Claude or Glean\nKnowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems\nKnowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP\nKnowledge of HPE and Lenovo server hardware. Including RAID storage configurations, memory, and chassis expansions and troubleshooting.\nKnowledge of scripting language (Powershell, BASH, Python, etc.)\nManaging and scheduling maintenance and configuration changes\nStrong focus on environment (hardware and/or software) return to service\nPreferred knowledge of Proxmox and XCP-NG\nPreferred knowledge of HPE Oneview and Lenovo Xclarity\nPreferred knowledge of data center, power, cabling, cooling\nCan articulate thoughts and solutions verbally and written\nAbility to independently research solutions online and use internal documentation\nCan complete clearly defined tasks as assigned\nMust show a willingness to pursue tasks (vs being told what to do)\nWhat’s the team like?\nYou will be directly reporting to a Director of Operations who has been with the Company for 28 years.
