Employees will also receive 15 days of PTO each year.Job DescriptionThe Branch Manager controls driving the overall financial performance and operations for assigned a small to large size auction branch. The position is responsible for ensuring the branch meets or exceeds its planned profitability, sales and customer service levels. The Branch Manager interacts with all levels of staff within IAA and is responsible for maintaining an engaged, safe and positive work environment by managing and mentoring local staff.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for overall performance and operation of assigned auction branch locations; managing planning processMonitor and maintain current branch/ service center positionsCoach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunitiesDevelop and implement new methods of internal procedures to improve efficienciesEnsure that branch/service center meets or exceeds its planned profitability sales and customer service levelsSuccessfully market the branch/service center within the approved expense budgetLead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance management where requiredSupport and handle all personnel issues, to include hiring and terminating of employeesDevelop business and branch growthUpdate the area/regional manager regarding profit and loss operating results of the branchResponsible for the overall safety and security of all branch personnel and company assetsProvide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and proceduresConsciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organizations and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organizationQualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience3-4 years of experienceJob RequirementsSolid P&L and budget experienceStrong operations backgroundExcellent customer relations skills and ability to manage several levels of employeesDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff membersProficient in MSOffice Suite; Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPointOutstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skillsEvidence of the ability to practice a high level of confidentialityGeneral knowledge of various employment laws and practices and employee relationsJ-18808-Ljbffr
