Position Overview: The Marijuana Master Cultivator is a seasoned expert in cannabis cultivation, responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant growth and development. This role requires a deep understanding of cannabis horticulture, from seed to harvest, and the ability to manage and mentor a cultivation team to achieve optimal yields and product quality. Key Responsibilities: Cultivation Management: Oversee and manage all phases of cannabis cultivation, including propagation, vegetative growth, flowering, and harvesting. Ensure that cultivation practices meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Plant Health and Growth: Monitor plant health, diagnose issues, and implement corrective measures to optimize growth. Utilize advanced cultivation techniques to enhance plant quality and yield. Nutrient and Soil Management: Develop and implement nutrient and soil management plans to support plant health and productivity. Adjust feeding schedules and soil conditions based on plant needs and growth stages. Environmental Control: Manage environmental conditions, including light, temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels, to create the ideal growing environment for cannabis plants. Team Leadership: Lead and train cultivation staff, providing guidance on best practices and procedures. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis cultivation. Maintain accurate records of cultivation activities, plant health, and yield metrics. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all plants meet quality standards. Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure the consistency and excellence of the final product. Innovation and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cultivation techniques. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cannabis cultivation, with a proven track record of successful plant management and high-quality yields. Previous experience as a master cultivator or in a senior cultivation role preferred. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cannabis plant biology, growth cycles, and advanced cultivation techniques. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in using cultivation equipment and technology. Education: Relevant certifications or specialized training in cannabis cultivation a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cultivation, such as lifting, bending, and working in various environmental conditions.
