Pride Health is hiring a “Technical Lab - Medical Laboratory Scientist” to support our client’s medical facility-based “Arlington, TX 76011”. This is a 4-5-months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.Position Name: Technical Lab - Medical Laboratory ScientistLocation: Arlington, TX 76011Pay rate: $40/hourDuration: 3-4 months contract with possible extensionShift: Evening shift, M-Thurs: 14:00pm to 22:30pm, Friday: 15:00pm to 23:30pmJob Responsibilities:· Perform specimen handling, testing, analysis, and reporting according to laboratory SOPs and quality standards.· Review and release test results while maintaining accurate patient and testing records.· Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, safety, QC, and QA guidelines.· Maintain laboratory instruments, calibrations, reagents, and documentation.· Identify, troubleshoot, and report testing or equipment issues to supervisors.· Report STAT and critical results as required.· Participate in training, inspections, safety programs, and departmental meetings.· Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and confidentiality of patient information.· Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.Required Knowledge & Skills:· Strong understanding of laboratory testing, QC/QA processes, and laboratory operations.· Proficient computer and multitasking skills with the ability to work in multiple systems.· Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.Education & Qualifications:· BS in Medical Technology preferred; or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology; or Associate degree in Laboratory Science/Medical Technology.· ASCP or AMT certification preferred or eligible.· Foreign graduates must provide IERF credential evaluation; U.S. graduates must provide official transcripts.Experience:· Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing preferred.· State/national licensure required where applicable.Special Requirements:· Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple procedures, collaborate across departments, and maintain strict patient confidentiality.Equal Employment OpportunityPride-Health is an equal opportunity employer.
