Candidate will follow Agile methodologies, contribute to design documentation, and drive quality through automated testing, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools,\r\nJob requirements Qualifications Require Skills\r\nExcellent problem-solving skills, including identifying areas for improvement for application code and development processes\r\nStrong backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST/JSON APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and microservices architecture\r\nExperience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, SQS/SNS, SES, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch) and event-driven architecture\r\nStrong knowledge and development experience in component-based JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Ember\r\nProficiency in HTML, CSS/SASS, and Bootstrap\r\nExperience designing unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests (JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright)\r\nExperience with database design including Stored Procedures, DML, and DDL tasks\r\nExperience with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes\r\nAbility to stay up to date on the latest technologies and how to integrate them into new and existing systems\r\nPreferred Skills\r\nExperience developing UI libraries\r\nExperience with observability tooling — structured logging, monitoring, and alerting using CloudWatch Logs, CloudWatch Monitoring, AppDynamics, and/or Splunk\r\nExperience with Jmeter performance tooling\r\nExperience with PostgreSQL and/or cloud-managed databases (RDS, Aurora)\r\nExperience working in a scaled agile (SAFe) program\r\nExperience with JIRA and Confluence\r\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills\r\nWhat We Offer • Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience).\r\n* Flexible, remote work arrangement.\r\n* Opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, federally mandated modernization initiative.\r\n* Collaborative environment with direct visibility on a nationally recognized federal program.\r\nAll done!
