Find your Steamboat Dream job today!An attached pdf or word document of your resume is required.Essential DutiesAssist department manager with supervision of front of house staffBe accountable for labor and cost of goodsAssist with monthly inventoryAssist employees with overall food preparation and customer serviceProvide on the job trainingAssist with management of daily operationsPerform scheduling duties and guest relationsOversee building safety issues, ie: Food safety program, snow clearing, hazmat, repairs and maintenanceEnsure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirementsOther duties, as assignedRequired Qualifications2 years of previous work history/education requiredTwo years restaurant experience in a supervisory role, preferredMust possess good organizational, interpersonal problem-solving leadership and team building skillsAdhere to all safety policiesMust have a valid driver's licenseProblem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers.Be a consistent role model for company's Service Excellence standardsStand for long periods of time and climb stairs frequentlyMust have Colorado approved Alcohol Server Training certificate or must attend a Colorado approved alcohol server training educational seminar within 30 days of employmentMust have current Food Manager and Allergy training certificate, or must attend Food Manager and Aller-train certification courses for Alterra Mountain company within 14 days of employmentEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED EquivalentThe base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation total compensation package for employees.
