Perform all duties in the Production department based on business needs.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPrepare work center to run according to schedule and ensure production goals and standards are met\nProvide support to machine operators and line leads to ensure workflow supports production goals and standards.\nMove material within or to/from workstations to meet operational needs.\nSuccessfully scan work orders and complete paperwork as On-the-Job (OTJ) training requires within a reasonable time frame.\nFollow proper processes for performing inspections, ensuring accuracy, and allowing for continuous monitoring for defects. If defects are found, the product must be sent to be reworked.\nEnsure any dust, dirt, excess glue, or other substances are removed from the product and prepared for shipment to the customer.\nAssist with material handling to provide continuous production at each work center and meet operational needs.\nReport problems to area lead or supervisor.\nMake recommendations through specified means of communication that support a lean and efficient manufacturing environment.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area throughout scheduled shift as well as perform cleaning duties at designated times to contribute to a safe environment.\nContribute to team effort by working as areas directed and performing other duties as assigned and needed.\nOther Responsibilities\nUtilize various hand tools.\nPractice and model proper safety rules and procedures. Wear proper PPE equipment as required for the area.\nReport to and be ready to work at the scheduled start time.\nCOMPETENCIES\nWork in a manner that contributes to a safe working environment.\nDemonstrate strong verbal communication skills.\nManage time efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.\nWork independently and at an appropriate pace to meet productivity goals.\nReport on time to scheduled shifts on a consistent basis.\nUse problem-solving skills to assess and resolve identified issues.\nSupport team goals through flexibility, adaptability, and agility to shift priorities.\nMINIMUM REQUIRED\nEducation: None\nExperience and/or Training: None\nLicenses/Certificates: None\nTechnology/Equipment: None\nPHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS\nStanding for the working hours of each shift, 10 + hours daily. Walking in the Production department to different areas of work. Speaking, hearing, seeing. Listen and observe the environment for hazard prevention. Use hands for tools. Regularly lift 30-50 lbs. throughout shift. Team-lift as specified by leadership.\nWORKING ENVIRONMENT\nIndoor working environment, hot in Summer, temperature controlled in Winter. Moving machinery, i.e. forklifts, moveable cards, etc. Uneven ground where cart tracks are identified. Air quality may be dusty and potentially require additional PPE in certain areas.
