In this role, you'll be on the front lines of protecting our clients' environments — monitoring for threats, responding to incidents, and helping harden the systems we manage. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their security career to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies and client environments.\nResponsibilities:\nMonitor security alerts across EDR, SIEM, and email security platforms; triage and escalate as appropriate\nRespond to and document security incidents, following established incident response procedures\nConduct vulnerability scans and assist with remediation tracking across client environments\nSupport identity and access management tasks, including MFA/SSO enforcement and Entra ID conditional access reviews\nAssist with security awareness training initiatives and phishing simulation campaigns\nMaintain and update security documentation, runbooks, and client-facing reports\nCollaborate with the NOC, helpdesk, and field services teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and misconfigurations\nParticipate in security assessments and audits to support client compliance requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA, CMMC, etc.)\nAssist with onboarding new clients into our security stack and baseline hardening processes\nTrack and manage security tickets through completion using our PSA/ticketing platform\nMinimum Qualifications:\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat and vulnerability management, risk management, incident response, and identity and access management\nUnderstanding of common industry tools and practices such as EDR, SIEM, Email Security, MFA, and SSO\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nSuperb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment with personal integrity and strong interpersonal skills\nA dedicated work ethic, attention to detail, self-sufficiency, and time management skills\nAbility to work under stress in emergencies with the flexibility to handle multiple high-pressure situations simultaneously\nWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours security incidents\nDesired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field\nSecurity+ Certification (or equivalent, such as CySA+, GSEC)\n1-5 years of IT support or security administration experience\nKnowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, network protocols, and other related concepts\nExperience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 Defender\nFamiliarity with ticketing/PSA systems (e.g., ConnectWise) and RMM tools\nExposure to a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) environment\nBasic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python) a plus\nIf you meet the minimum qualifications and possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply with your resume and cover letter.
