Experienced Welder 2nd shift

Description: GSM Industrial, a regional leader since 1983 in industrial fabrication, installation and mechanical contracting, is seeking a highly skilled and experiencedWelderto join our team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in various welding techniques, includingFCAW (Flux Core), GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG) , and be proficient in weldingcarbon steel and stainless steel in all positions (1G-5G) .Requirements: Key Skills & Qualifications: Advanced Welding Proficiency : Skilled inFCAW, GMAW, and GTAWwelding processes, with extensive experience working oncarbon steel and stainless steel . All Position Welding : Ability to weld in1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5Gpositions with precision and consistency. Code-Quality Welding : Proven experience infull penetration welding, back purge welding , and producing welds that passRT (Radiographic Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), and hydrostatic tests . Polished Stainless Steel Welding : Experience working withpolished stainless steelunder stringentvisual inspection requirementsis a plus. Blueprint Reading & Fit-Up : Strong ability toread and interpret complex blueprints , perform precisefit-up , and executecomplex assemblieswith minimal supervision. Rigging & Crane Operation : Hands-on experience withrigging and complex crane operationsto handle large and intricate welding projects safely and efficiently. Safety & Quality Compliance : Commitment to followingindustry safety standards, quality control protocols, and best practicesfor welding and fabrication. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in anindustrial, structural, or pressure vessel welding environment . Certification(s) in relevant welding disciplines (AWS, ASME, etc.) is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
