Lead Food Service Worker
Join NDSU Dining and help feed the herd! Located in the heart of NDSU's campus, enjoy state-of-the art facilities and a fun, lively environment. Our team members help create the culinary experience by preparing and serving food for NDSU students, faculty, staff and guests. In addition, this position will ensure food safety protocols are met in the food production and service areas, as well as maintaining equipment used at workstations. In this position, you are guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10 paid holidays, plus paid vacation and sick time. Description & Details:
Serve as a role model and leader for staff in customer service and teamwork
Performs all necessary duties to serve and prepare food for customers
Execute all necessary tasks to ensure a high degree of cleanliness, quality, and sanitation in food service areas
Maintains all equipment used at workstations in an acceptable and sanitary condition
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 12PM - 8:30PM | Summer, winter and spring break hours may vary.
Advertised Salary: $18+/hour
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 1-year experience in a food service operation
Excellent customer service skills
Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
College or University food service experience preferred
Food safety certification preferred
