We are seeking highly skilled and safety-conscious Rigger Operators to join our team.\nThe successful candidates will be responsible for safely handling, rigging, and operating lifting and material handling equipment to facilitate the movement and placement of heavy loads on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of crane operations, load securing methods, and adherence to safety regulations to ensure efficient project progression and a safe working environment. The ideal applicant will bring practical experience in construction workplace safety standards, materials handling, and heavy equipment operation.\n**$150/day per diem available for qualified candidates**\nResponsibilities\nOperate cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other lifting equipment in accordance with established safety protocols and load handling procedures.\nRig loads securely using appropriate load securing rigging methods to ensure stability during lifting and transportation.\nCoordinate with team members to plan lift sequences and ensure proper load distribution.\nConduct pre-operation inspections of all lifting equipment and safety gear to identify potential issues before use.\nFollow OSHA safety standards and construction site safety regulations at all times during operations.\nHandle materials efficiently within warehouse or construction environments, including shipping & receiving activities.\nMaintain clear communication with team members regarding load movements and operational status.\nEnsure all safety equipment is worn correctly and maintained in good condition throughout each shift.\nAssist in the setup, dismantling, and maintenance of rigging gear and lifting devices.\nDocument operational activities accurately for project records and compliance purposes.\nExperience\nMust be NCCER certified.\nProven experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, boom trucks, excavators, backhoes, or other heavy lifting machinery within construction or industrial settings.\nStrong mechanical knowledge related to hydraulics, crane operation, load handling procedures, and materials handling equipment operation.\nFamiliarity with construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards and best practices for rigging and lifting operations.\nPrior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocol adherence.\nDemonstrated ability to implement safe rigging techniques and secure loads effectively.\nExperience in warehouse operations or shipping & receiving environments is advantageous.\nValid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory; relevant certifications in crane operation or rigging are highly desirable.\nMust be able to pass a drug screen and background check.\nCTS offers a comprehensive benefit package to eligible employees.
