Credit Trainee Program is a structured development opportunity for recent college graduates looking to build a career in credit. Trainees gain hands-on experience in credit operations, customer accounts, financial processes, and credit decision-making while working alongside teams across the business. Through coaching, mentorship, and real-world experience, participants build the skills and business knowledge needed to grow within the credit organization.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLearn and support day-to-day credit operations and customer account management.\nReview account activity, payment history, and credit information to support credit decisions.\nAssist with collections, account discrepancies, and customer credit-related questions.\nDevelop knowledge of financial information, risk assessment, and credit policies.\nPartner with Sales, Operations, and other teams to understand how Credit supports the business.\nParticipate in rotational learning, coaching, and mentorship opportunities.\nTake on increasing responsibility as knowledge and experience develop.\n\nQualifications and Skills:\n\nBachelor's degree or expected degree completion prior to program start.\nInterest in a career in credit, finance, business, or management.\nStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nComfortable working with numbers and learning financial concepts.\nStrong attention to detail and organization.\nCollaborative, customer-focused, and willing to learn.\nDemonstrated initiative and interest in professional growth.\n\nBenefits:\nAt Walters, we believe that our benefits should make a difference-to you, your job, and the life you lead outside of work.
