Direction and strategic priority come from the Head of Enterprise QA; this role translates that direction into sequencing, stakeholder commitments, and a communication cadence that keeps delivery teams engaged without requiring escalation.\nLocation: On-site 4 days a week in San Francisco\nResponsibilities\nServe as primary liaison between Enterprise QA and other technology teams - Operations Tech, Investment Tech, Data Tech, Cloud Infrastructure, and EUC - maintaining working relationships with delivery managers and program leads.\nHold decision authority over sequencing and prioritization across active initiatives (DataGaps onboarding, QA automation, synthetic data service, lower environment build-out, agentic SDLC), weighing delivery team capacity against the Enterprise QA roadmap and escalating to the Head of Enterprise QA where a delivery team's committed timeline is at risk.\nBuild project plans for new initiatives from the ground up, with proactive identification of risks and dependencies through structured stakeholder discovery.\nProvide day-to-day direction and development support to QA practitioners embedded in the function, including the other leads and automation builders, with continued positioning of each as a strategic contributor rather than a project executor.\nLead cross-team alignment on scope, timelines, and dependencies, with resolution of conflicts before they require escalation to the Head of Enterprise QA.\nLead status reporting and communication cadences - weekly updates, stakeholder briefings, executive summaries - calibrated for concision with senior audiences.\nOwn translation of the Alternative Approach (internal QA standards plus a focused EUC managed service) into delivery-team-facing plans and commitments.\nOwn the QA Guild cadence, with accountability for its function as a practitioner community rather than a status meeting.\nBasic Qualifications\n10 years in program or project management, with direct experience in QA transformation, technology delivery, or enterprise software programs.\n10 years of experience building project plans and program structures from a blank state, including the stakeholder questioning and risk discovery needed to surface issues before they become delays.\n10 years of experience leading programs staffed through a federated or guild-based resourcing model, rather than a centralized PMO with direct reporting lines.\nPreferred Qualifications\nA track record of stakeholder alignment across engineering, infrastructure, and operations functions within a matrixed organization.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated concision when addressing senior technology executives.\nFinancial services or other regulated-industry experience preferred.\nHands-on familiarity with generative AI tools and workflows desirable, with genuine interest in extending that experience into QA and SDLC applications, a growing focus area for this function.\nEvolver is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
