Candidate must be driven, organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. This position also requires in-depth knowledge of front end and back-end technologies.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES\nAbility to work on both front end and back-end technologies\nAbility to take an idea from concept to reality in an iterative and highly releasable manner\nAbility to take design documents and turn them into functional code\nAbility to work independently and with other members of the team, including Quality Assurance engineers\nComfortable refactoring/understanding legacy code and moving towards open standards\nComfortable with writing, editing, and maintaining unit/feature tests\nStructured, disciplined approach to development, testing, and deployment.\nProvide correct bug fixes\nThere is direct project oversight, but you are expected to take ownership of your work and your projects, establish deadlines, and communicate progress proactively\nManage time across multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven, team environment.\nAdminister critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.\nGenerate statistics and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process.\nSelf-management and time management are critical in this role.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS preferred or equivalent experience\n5+ years of extensive experience with PHP, Modern Frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, etc.), HTML5, jQuery, Vue, SASS & CSS\nExperience working with AWS and cloud-based web applications is a plus\nExperienced with Jira and Agile environments\n\nforeUP/Clubessential Holdings is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
