This role will ensure seamless connectivity between cloud and on-premise systems, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and optimize the platform.\r\nHow You Will Contribute Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure hybrid cloud infrastructure, integrating seamlessly with on-premise infrastructure.\r\nDeploy infrastructure-specific components and establish secure VPN/tunneling for on-premise to cloud connectivity.\r\nDevelop and maintain automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and management across cloud and on-premise, using IaC principles.\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (RAN, Core, Cloud applications) for seamless integration of cloud and on-premise solutions.\r\nMonitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify and resolve issues, and optimize for consistent reliability across hybrid deployments.\r\nEnsure adherence to security best practices and compliance across hybrid environments, implementing security policies through IaC.\r\nContribute to continuous improvement of cloud architecture and operations, focusing on hybrid cloud and refining IaC modules.\r\nParticipate in on-call rotations for critical infrastructure support, covering both cloud and on-premise systems.\r\nWhat We Look For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.\r\nProven experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP) and integrating it with on-premise data centers or private clouds.\r\nStrong understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, cloud networking, virtualization, and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).\r\nProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for managing both cloud and on-premise resources.\r\nExperience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) for unified visibility across hybrid environments.\r\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies applied to hybrid cloud deployments.\r\nKnowledge of telecommunications networks and satellite communication is a plus.\r\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, focused on building scalable and resilient cloud solutions using technologies like Kubernetes.\r\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\r\nExperience with AI tools and a proven track record of integrating them into workflows.\r\nWhat We Offer Competitive compensation packages including a stock-option based equity program.\r\nComprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, retirement plan.\r\nMonthly wellness and education reimbursement allowances.\r\nGenerous time-off policy, holidays, and the opportunity to temporarily work abroad.\r\nOpportunity to be part of the first commercial, live direct-to-device satellite network and service.\r\nAccess to world-class talent across software, hardware, chipsets, telecom, satellite, and network virtualization domains.\r\nOpen, transparent, inclusive culture blending Silicon Valley, Nordic, and South Asia characteristics.\r\nAdditional Information Compensation range for this position: $145,000 – $154,000 plus equity.\r\nEEO Statement Skylo is an equal-opportunity employer and we celebrate diversity.
