This inspection would include but not limited to the following.\nDiameter, Overall Length, Nozzle Projection, Nozzle Orientation, Test Ports, Couplings, Drains, Etc.\nWeld Inspection to verify all welding meets or exceeds the weld details on the fabrication drawings. This inspection would include but not limited to.\nWeld Profile, Weld Size, Weld Length, Porosity, Cracks, Undercut, Inclusions, Excessive Spatter, Etc.\nVisual Inspection to verify that the finished product meets the overall standards of MIRATECH. This inspection would include but not limited to the following.\nPaint Defects, Deformation, Defects, Tagging, Labeling, Etc.\nLabeling / Tagging - verify that all the products all labeled, marked, or tagged with the correct job number and stock code.\nMaintain job travelers in job packets, inspection reports, test and quality checks.\nReport any defects, issues, or non-conformities to the Quality Control Manager.\nAssist with 3rd Party Inspections that are coordinated through the Quality Control Manager.\nInspect raw materials in the Non-Conformance Department to verify the following match the Material Traceability Report (MTR) provided by the vendor;\nThickness, Specification, Grade, Heat Number, Slab Number, Etc.\nCalibrate inspection and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.\nEnsure that all safety standards are adhered to during inspections and testing.\nCommunicates with other QC Inspectors and takes ownership and initiative.\nHow to Qualify:\nHigh school diploma\nBlueprint interpretation\nUsing measuring tools such as tape measure, micrometer, level, fillet weld gauges, etc.\n5 years of experience with steel fabrication and welding\n2 years of experience with quality related procedures and processes.\nCommunication and interpersonal skills to liaise with quality control manager, production supervisor, direct laborers, and cross-functional teams.\nWhat's In it For You:\nHealth, Dental & Vision Insurance\nAnnual Bonus Program\n$350 Annual Wellness Credit\nFlexible Spending Account (FSA)\n401k with match up to 5%\nLife insurance\nDisability insurance\n6 days of paid sick leave annually\n15 days PTO annually (prorated based on start date)\n$350 Production Reimbursement Program\n\nStarting pay begins at $23/hr, with potential for more depending on your background and experience!\n\nEqual Opportunity: MIRATECH is an equal opportunity employer and supports a diverse and inclusive workforce.
