This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of parts while continuing to build your technical skills in a modern facility.POSITION - CNC MachinistJOB LOCATION - Menomonie, WisconsinSTARTING DATE - ImmediateEMPLOYMENT TERM - Direct HireEMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full-TimeWORK HOURS (SHIFT) - 1st or 2nd Shift (5x8's or 4x10's available; Monday-Friday or Monday-Thursday)STARTING PAY - $24.00-$30.00/hour DOE + 7.5% shift premium for 2nd shiftBENEFITS - Health Insurance, 401(K) with Match, Paid Holidays, Flexible SchedulingREQUIRED EDUCATION - Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - 1-2+ years CNC machining experience preferredRESPONSIBILITIESEvaluate work orders, prints, and specifications to determine machining operationsProgram CNC 3, 4, and 5-axis machines using Mastercam and/or SurfcamSet up tooling, fixtures, and offsets for production runsOperate CNC and manual equipment including lathes, mills, saws, grinders, and sandersDesign and build fixtures, jaws, and inspection gaugesPerform in-process inspections using precision measuring toolsMonitor machining operations, troubleshoot issues, and adjust as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentCollaborate with engineering, tooling, and quality teams QUALIFICATIONSProficiency in Mastercam and/or Surfcam preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&TStrong math, problem-solving, and analytical skillsExperience with measuring equipment (CMM knowledge a plus)Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and OutlookSelf-motivated with strong attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift 25-50 lbs as neededAbility to bend, reach, and work within machine spacesABOUT THE COMPANYThis company brings over 40 years of precision machining expertise and continues to invest in advanced technology and its people.
