Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Team Member to join our team in a fast-paced environment. As a Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere in our café. Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a quick service environment - Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner - Operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bussing tables and sweeping floors - Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies - Operate Aloha POS and other restaurant management systems - Provide support with sales and marketing initiatives - Participate in ongoing training and education to improve customer service and culinary skills - Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment - Perform other duties as assigned by management Experience: - Prior experience in the food industry, particularly in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting - Experience with cash handling and operating a point-of-sale system - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor - Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures - Experience with bussing tables and maintaining a clean workspace - High school diploma or equivalent required Skills: - Knowledge of the culinary arts and food preparation - Experience with customer service in a retail or service industry - Familiarity with grocery store operations - Ability to lift and carry heavy objects - Basic computer skills and experience with restaurant management systems - Strong communication and teamwork skills - A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Shift: 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Evening shift Morning shift Experience: Basic math: 1 year (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Katy, TX 77449 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Katy, TX 77449: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
