Keep reading to learn more!WEEKEND SHIPPING AND RECEIVING ASSOCIATE CRITERIAGeneral Requirements18+ years of ageData entry experienceBasic mechanical aptitude and repair skillsPhysical ability to safely lift 75 pounds (using proper lifting techniques), twist, pull, reach overhead, lift, bend, and stand for extended periodsAbility to accurately use and read digital calipers/tape measuresHigh school degree or GED equivalentCompetenciesAbility to balance competing responsibilities and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentClear and effective verbal/written communication skillsRelationship-building skills and a team mindsetAttention to detail and organizational skillsCommitment to safety, cleanliness, and professionalismAbility to work independently and collaborativelyWhile not required, our ideal person is forklift-certified (we'll train you on this if needed), knowledgeable about hydraulic components, and experienced with logistics/supply chains.WHAT YOUR DAYS WILL LOOK LIKE AS OUR WEEKEND SHIPPING AND RECEIVING ASSOCIATEThis position works Friday through Sunday, with alternating Thursdays. Hours are 5:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some overtime as needed.This is a hands-on role where you'll help keep workdays running smoothly and our business organized and accurate. Prioritizing safety and precision, you'll stock products on our shelves, pull parts for customer orders, break down incoming shipments, and support a seamless flow of products. You'll coordinate the logistics and shipment details with companies like UPS, FedEx, and SpeeDee, accurately entering information into our computer and maintaining detailed inventory records. When appropriate, you'll move products using a forklift and schedule outbound freight shipments.
