The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming HAAS CNC machines using CATIA, Mastercam, and other CAM software. This position plays a critical role in developing and optimizing CNC programs for complex components in aerospace and precision manufacturing, ensuring both accuracy and efficiency.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and 3D models.\nCreate and modify CNC programs using CATIA, Mastercam, and other CAM software for vertical, horizontal, and multi-axis machining centers.\nSelect appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, fixtures, and machining strategies based on material and design specifications.\nSimulate and verify CNC programs to detect and correct potential collisions or errors before production.\nPerform test runs and first-article inspections to validate program accuracy and part conformance.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues in programming and machining processes (3-axis, 4-axis mills, and lathes).\nSupport machine setup and prove-out activities on the shop floor.\nCollaborate with machinists, planners, and quality control to improve workflows and reduce cycle times.\nMaintain organized documentation of programs, revisions, and setup instructions.\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in CNC programming or machining preferred.\nMinimum 2–5 years of CNC programming experience, preferably on HAAS machines.\nProficiency in CATIA for 3D modeling and NC programming.\nExperience with Mastercam and other CAM/post-processing software.\nStrong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and HAAS controllers.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings and detailed dimensional data.\nUnderstanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nU.S. Person status required due to export control regulations.\n\nPREFERRED SKILLS:\n\nExperience with DNC systems and CNC program management tools.\nFamiliarity with post-processing, simulation, and verification tools.\nBackground in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing industries.\nUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principles and shop safety practices.\n\nBENEFITS:\n\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance\n403(b) retirement plan with company match\nPaid time off and holidays\nOngoing training and advancement opportunities\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT\n\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
