Regular attendance in conformance with the policies established by ASM Global is essential to the successful performance of this position.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nThe Dish Machine Operator is responsible and accountable for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Additionally, dishwashers are expected to keep dishwashing areas clean and safe.\nJob Responsibilities:\nScrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.\nWash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes properly in the three bay sink as directed.\nManually wash pots and equipment that cannot be run through dish machine.\nClean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine.\nUnload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly.\nEmpty trash containers regularly.\nSweep, mop, and remove trash, recycling, and compost from all unit areas as needed and during assigned times.\nService unit dining rooms. Aid in cleaning and sanitizing tables and chairs as needed.\nClean and sanitize high touchpoints in the dining room, front-of-house, and back-of-house.\nTake and Document temperatures of the dish machine and three bay sink on an hourly basis.\nRecord and test every red sanitizer solution bucket’s strength every 4 hours or when it becomes soiled.\nChange every green soapy water buckets every 2 hours or when needed.\nPerform additional cleaning duties as requested.\nCommunicate often, clearly, and professionally with co-works and management.\nUphold all required safety, service, and hygiene protocols.\nOther duties as assigned.\nHealth and Safety Compliance:\nEnsuring compliance with all local and state health and safety regulations.\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEducation and/or Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, previous work experience would be beneficial.\nOther Qualifications\nAbility to interact with all levels of staff including management.\nAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.\nSkills and Abilities\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.\nWorking Conditions\nRegularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and toxic or caustic chemicals.\nFrequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and heat.\nNoise level in the work environment is usually moderate.\nIrregular hours dictated by events.\n\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nMust be able to lift 30 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. (minimal). Must be able to reach over your head, stand for long periods of time, occasional squatting, frequent bending, and conduct repetitive motion, such as chopping, stirring, and mixing. Must be able to withstand frequent/continuous exposure to temperature changes and a variety of environmental and sensory impacts, including but not limited to cold, heat, steam, smoke, slippery floors, and food waste areas. Must be comfortable and able to use kitchen equipment, as well as be able to learn the utilization of advanced cooking equipment as needed.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear.
