This is a skilled position responsible for the installation of underground and above-ground fuel tanks and systems while maintaining tools and materials, and helping keep the jobsite safe, organized, and productive. An Underground Storage Tank (UST) license is preferred; candidates willing to obtain one will be considered.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssist skilled workers as assigned, including cutting and threading pipe and supporting the installation of underground and above-ground fuel tanks and systems.\nUnload delivered materials, such as lumber or bags of cement, and distribute them to the appropriate location as identified by the supervisor, project plans, or specifications.\nAssist with layout of the construction area by accurately measuring, marking, and recording openings, distances, and grades.\nPrepare and account for tools and materials for skilled workers.\nClean and prepare specific areas of the jobsite as assigned, which may include digging trenches, erecting scaffolding, clearing rubble, debris, and trash, and removing hazardous materials.\nOperate a wide variety of hand and power tools and small equipment.\nDirect traffic near, in, or around work zones.\nSignal equipment operators to assist with the alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.\nClean the jobsite at the end of each day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials and equipment are properly stored.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nValid driver’s license.\nAbility to listen to, understand, and follow directions.\nAbility to remain flexible as specific assignments change.\nAbility to work effectively with a variety of personalities.\nAbility to perform basic arithmetic as needed to count and take inventory.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nUnderground Storage Tank (UST) license; candidates willing to obtain licensure will be considered.\nPrior construction or general labor job experience.\nFamiliarity with petroleum equipment, fuel systems, or jobsite construction environments.\n\nWork Environment\n\nMust have the physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.\nMust be able to work in all weather conditions.\nMust be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing between 40 and 60 pounds.\nMust be able to work some overtime and at night when needed.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\n\nCompensation is commensurate with experience and aligned to StationServ’s location-based pay structure.
