The position combines hands-on hardware integration, lab infrastructure coordination, asset management, testing support, and cross-functional collaboration. The position is based in Manassas, VA and is fully on-site.\n\nLocation: Manassas, VA (On-site)\nPosition: Program Lab Facilities Coordinator\nContract Length: 12–24 months with possibility of going direct\nPay Rate: $54.91 per hour\nEducation/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience; equivalent experience considered\nSchedule: First Shift\nClearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance required at time of hire (U.S. citizenship required)\n\nIn this role, you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to:\nAssemble and configure development and test lab environments for cybersecurity programs.\nBuild and install test racks, servers, switches, KVMs, and supporting hardware components.\nPerform rack integration, cable management, and network connectivity setup.\nInstall and configure COTS and GOTS software on server platforms.\nManage equipment and property tracking for both government and company assets.\nSupport laboratory planning activities including layout design, power requirements, cooling requirements, and facility coordination.\nDevelop Bills of Material (BOMs) and coordinate hardware procurement activities.\nTrack hardware lead times and coordinate equipment deliveries.\nSupport troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and RMA processes with vendors and suppliers.\nConduct formal and informal testing to validate system requirements.\nInstall, test, and troubleshoot Information Assurance (IA) software.\nAnalyze requirements documentation and develop methods for validation and testing.\nAssist with development of test plans, test procedures, and test reports.\nCommunicate technical and project-related issues to management and stakeholders.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExperience assembling, integrating, and testing computer hardware and laboratory equipment.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nUnderstanding of networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, and encryption technologies.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to organize and manage hardware assets, inventory, and configuration tracking.\nBasic Linux command-line experience.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across engineering, facilities, and program teams.\nPreferred:\nExperience supporting submarine combat control or weapon systems.\nExperience within cybersecurity environments or programs.\nKnowledge of Information Assurance (IA) software and testing processes.\nAbility to read and understand C, C++, or Java source code.\nCybersecurity certifications.\nExperience supporting classified DoD environments and laboratory operations.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and development environments.\n\nAbout Our Client\nOur client is a mission-critical DoD–Aerospace defense contractor developing solutions that will lead, serve, and protect our country.
