Controlled Power Inc. is looking for someone who brings enthusiasm and energy to the workplace.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe Control Switchgear Assembler is responsible for point to point hand wiring of components and terminals.\nThe Control Switchgear Assembler is responsible for wire stripping and termination, hand soldering.\nThe Control Switchgear Assembler is responsible for hole pattern layout and punching, drilling, cutting of sheet metal enclosures.\nThe Control Switchgear Assembler must have working knowledge of blueprints and wiring schematics.\nThe Control Switchgear Assembler must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., the ability to stand for extended periods, good math, accuracy, and organization skills.\nThe Control Switchgear Assembler must be able to operate floor pallet jack and hand truck. May require forklift certification. Requires valid Washington State Drivers License for pickup and delivery tasks with CPI vehicle when required.\nThe Control Switchgear Assembler Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are followed.\nThe Control Switchgear Assembler is able to achieve required timelines and deliverables. Must be available for overtime when required.\nThe Control Switchgear Assembler demonstrates ability to set priorities and strong attention to detail.\nThe Control Switchgear Assembler must be able to perform other tasks as assigned by the Shop Supervisor in order to support the job requirements.\nQUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:\nMust have experience assembling, wiring, testing switchgear and industrial controls\nAbility to work with hand tools, power tools and soldering equipment\nMetal Fabrication experience a plus\nDemonstrate a high degree of dependability and motivation.
