This role manages vendor selection, evaluates contracts, and negotiates favorable terms for software licenses, market data, hardware, and other operational services. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing purchasing policies, reviewing purchase requests, approving major expenditures, and ensuring alignment with budget and compliance requirements. The Purchasing Director will collaborate with trading, technology, finance, and legal teams to forecast needs, mitigate supply and vendor risks, and maintain accurate records of purchasing activities.
