We are looking for someone who can serve as a trusted advisor, mentor, trainer, and ambassador for Transit Technologies.What You'll DoInstallation & Technical ServicesInstall GPS, telematics, mobile data terminals, tablets, routers, antennas, cameras, DVR systems, driver ID systems, and related fleet technologies.Perform system migrations, hardware upgrades, removals, and retrofit projects.Troubleshoot hardware, software, wiring, connectivity, and integration issues.Conduct vehicle audits and site assessments.Verify proper system operation and perform quality inspections.Complete project documentation, photos, and closeout reports.Maintain installation standards and best practices.Project SupportSupport large-scale migration and deployment projects.Assist project managers during customer implementations.Coordinate with operations, scheduling, and support teams.Provide field feedback to improve processes and project execution.Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and improve customer outcomes.Contractor DevelopmentA critical component of this role is helping build our Northeast contractor network.Responsibilities include:Identifying qualified installation contractors throughout the region.Participating in contractor interviews and evaluations.Conducting onboarding and field training.Mentoring new contractors during initial projects.Performing quality audits.Serving as the primary technical resource for regional contractors.Helping build a scalable field workforce to support future growth.Customer RelationshipsBuild trusted relationships with customers, fleet managers, transportation directors, and maintenance teams.Communicate project status clearly and professionally.Resolve field issues calmly and effectively.Train customers on system operation when required.Represent Transit Technologies professionally at all times.Serve as a trusted advisor during installations and migration projects.What You BringRequired Qualifications3+ years of mobile electronics installation experience.Experience with vehicle electrical systems.Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.Experience with GPS, telematics, MDTs, cameras, routers, or fleet technology.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to travel extensively throughout the Northeast region.Preferred QualificationsTransit, school bus, public safety, or commercial fleet experience.Experience leading installation teams.Experience training technicians or contractors.Knowledge of networking and cellular communications.Experience conducting vehicle
