You may occasionally be on site, but this is not an onsite labor position.As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:Creating and maintaining all project documentation, including; vendor purchase orders, subcontracts, and change ordersGenerating and/or issuing RFIs, Submittals, Drawings, Specifications, and other project communicationsTracking responses and communication information to the appropriate partyAssisting in any ongoing project estimating as the project evolves and changesCompiling the project close-out bookEnsuring all plans and permits are accounted for, and copies are delivered to the Owner, as well as retained for filesTo be successful, you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Construction Management (REQUIRED)0 - 2 years experience in residential constructionExperience with technology: Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam Revue, and ProcoreSome knowledge of practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools used in residential and commercial constructionSome understanding of architectural and engineering practicesSome ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specificationsExcellent communication, active listening, and team-building skillsExcellent organizational skillsWhat you’ll get:Competitive pay commensurate with skills and experienceMedical, Dental, and Vision benefitsPaid holidays and PTOWho We AreLevel Recruiting is a boutique placement firm that works with the best custom home builders in the Bay Area.
