The Project Manager utilizes independent judgment and discretion while following a predefined project management methodology to deliver all projects. The PM creates, controls and drives project execution utilizing the appropriate pre-defined project management lifecycle methodologies. The PM serves as the primary point of contact for project communication and ensures all phases of the project are followed. The Project Manager may also assist clients and the sales team in planning, scoping, scheduling, and determining project requirements during the pre-sales phase. The PM is also responsible for contributing to the development of the team by mentoring less experienced project managers. Travel may be required to kick off a project, run pilots, discuss project milestone reviews, or to attend customer meetings.\n\nPost-Sales Project Management\nProvides project management services for medium to large moderately complex service delivery projects:\nDevelops relevant project artifacts to deliver contractual services utilizing judgment and discretion based on the agreed deliverables\nUtilizes and manages internal resources and third-party service providers to fulfill project requirements\nProactively manages project scope, budget and schedule\nProactively mitigates risks and issues\nUses problem solving skills on escalated issues\nActs as a primary point of contact for the project\nMentors less experienced project managers\nMay manage internal company projects\n\nAdministration\nConfirms milestone completions and ensures time and expenses are entered correctly and validated following Connection PMO’s best practices and established processes.\nUpdates systems and PMO Manager as required\nPerforms or oversees billing submissions\nPerforms administrative closing of projects per prescribed project management methodology\nFulfills weekly status and portfolio reporting requirements\n\nTechnology\nIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint with ability to update spreadsheets and to perform intermediate calculations in Excel\nExperience using Microsoft Word templates to create Change Orders and project artifacts and deliverables\nExperience creating project schedules using Microsoft Project\nMin: USD $97,000.00/Yr.
