AEM Technical Architect (Edge Delivery Services)Contract – Onsite 5 days – Plano TXWe are seeking an experienced AEM Technical Architect with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Edge Delivery Services (EDS), and modern front-end web technologies to lead enterprise digital experience initiatives.This role will be responsible for architecting scalable, high-performance web solutions that combine Adobe Experience Manager with modern JavaScript frameworks and composable front-end architectures. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge across AEM Sites, Edge Delivery Services, headless delivery models, and modern front-end development using Next.js, Node.js, and JavaScript ecosystems.You will work closely with engineering teams, UX, DevOps, product stakeholders, and enterprise architects to design and deliver modern digital platforms optimized for performance, scalability, SEO, and customer experience.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAEM Solution ArchitectureLead architecture and technical design for enterprise Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementations.Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across AEM Sites and Edge Delivery Services (EDS).Define best practices for component architecture, content modeling, and authoring experiences.Edge Delivery Services (EDS)Architect and implement Adobe Edge Delivery Services solutions to improve website performance, speed, and content delivery.Design composable and headless delivery strategies leveraging modern front-end frameworks.Optimize Core Web Vitals, SEO, caching strategies, and edge-based content rendering.Front-End ArchitectureLead front-end architecture using:Next.jsNode.jsJavaScript / TypeScriptHTML5 / CSS3React.jsEstablish reusable component libraries and scalable front-end development standards.Headless & API IntegrationDesign and implement headless CMS architectures integrating AEM with modern front-end applications.Develop API integration strategies across Adobe and third-party platforms.Technical LeadershipProvide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical governance sessions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical delivery.Performance & OptimizationDrive optimization initiatives related to:Site performanceAccessibilitySEOScalabilitySecurityImplement modern CI/CD and DevOps best practices for front-end and AEM deployments.Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with Product Owners, UX teams, Marketing stakeholders, and Engineering leadership to define technical roadmaps and delivery strategies.Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLSAdobe Experience Manager Expertise8+ years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).Strong expertise in:AEM SitesAEM Headless CMSSling ModelsOSGiHTL/SightlyContent FragmentsExperience FragmentsEdge Delivery Services (EDS)Hands-on experience implementing Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS).Strong understanding of edge architecture, content delivery optimization, and modern web performance principles.Front-End Development ExpertiseStrong hands-on experience with:Next.jsNode.jsJavaScript / TypeScriptReact.jsHTML5CSS3REST APIsJSONLeadership & CommunicationStrong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills.Experience leading distributed or cross-functional engineering teams.Ability to operate in fast-paced enterprise delivery environments.NICE TO HAVEExperience with Adobe Experience Cloud integrationsAdobe certifications (AEM Architect / Developer)Experience with GraphQLFamiliarity with personalization and analytics platformsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsAbout HirobeHirobe is a specialist recruitment partner focused exclusively on the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.
