A distinguished multi-service law firm, headquartered in downtown San Jose, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2-3 years' experience in business litigation.RequirementsJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in the State Bar of CaliforniaStrong working knowledge of the California Code Of Civil Procedure and Evidence CodePrivate law practice experience, with some experience taking responsibility for client matters (with supervision)Excellent written and oral communication skillsDesire to invest in building a future with a mid-sized law firmKey ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and prepare legal documentsDraft pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detailPrepare for and engage in settlement negotiations, hearings, and trials to achieve favorable outcomes for clientsLocationThis position can be based in our Silicon Valley (downtown San Jose) or Tri-Valley (Pleasanton) office. Travel between locations may be necessary.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary for this position ranges from $125,00 to $165,000.
