Controller
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented finance leader with strong exposure to manufacturing operations. You will oversee the company's financial records and accounting team, and be responsible for maintaining and improving all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.Must HavesDirect exposure to manufacturing (plant / cost environment)Public accounting foundation or strong cost accounting background5–12 years of progressive accounting/finance experienceProven "go-getter" mentality with a bias for action and continuous improvementResponsibilitiesOversee and maintain the company's general ledger, financial records, and accounting proceduresEnsure compliance with all relevant government and regulatory requirementsServe as primary point of contact for external auditors and manage audit processesDevelop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assetsAnalyze financial transactions, manufacturing costs, and variances to support operational decisionsPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reportsPartner with operations and leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; or equivalent 5–7+ years of related experience (5–12 years total experience required as noted above)Experience in a manufacturing environment is requiredPublic accounting and/or cost accounting experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP; CPA preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive results in a fast-paced environment
