This role prepares, trims, assembles, cleans, and stages components for downstream processes and shipment while maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced production environment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role supports efficient plant operations through teamwork, attention to detail, and consistent adherence to operating procedures.\nKey Responsibilities\nRemove plastic flashing using hand files, scrapers, sanders, and related tools to produce properly fitting and cosmetically acceptable parts.\nCut, grind, trim, and prepare composite and plastic parts to required specifications.\nPrepare components for foaming and other downstream production processes.\nAssemble products using adhesives, bolts, screws, rivets, and other fastening methods.\nClean and inspect finished products prior to shipment.\nUse hand pallet jacks to move materials and products safely throughout the work area.\nMaintain tools and equipment in safe working condition and report repair needs promptly.\nPractice efficient use of shop supplies and production materials.\nMaintain housekeeping standards and an organized work environment.\nFollow all safety requirements and proper handling procedures for equipment, raw materials, and finished products.\nPerform additional related duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nOne to three months of manufacturing, assembly, production, or related experience preferred.\nAbility to read and understand basic instructions, work orders, correspondence, and production documentation.\nAbility to perform basic arithmetic and measurements, including accurate use of a tape measure.\nAbility to follow one- and two-step instructions and work with limited supervision.\nAbility to safely operate hand tools and material-handling equipment.\n\nPhysical & Work Environment Requirements\nRegular standing and walking are required. Employees frequently use hands and arms and may occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, speak, and hear. The position requires occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds. Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, and elevated noise levels.
