You’ll work directly with utility clients, internal delivery teams, and software partners to bring multi-stakeholder programs in on time, on budget, and aligned to measurable customer outcomes.\n\n This role is a fit for a project manager who is equally comfortable in a steering committee, a sprint review, and a deep technical design discussion, and who genuinely cares about how the work shows up for the customer at the end of the line.\n\n \n Lead cross-functional teams delivering customer experience and engagement technology programs across CIS, billing, contact center, and digital channels\n \n \n Plan, organize, and oversee complex multi-workstream projects, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality across utility, vendor, and E Source teams\n \n \n Partner with client sponsors, business owners, and IT leaders to translate customer experience goals into clear program objectives, milestones, and deliverables\n \n \n Own client relationships day to day, serving as the primary point of accountability for delivery and as a trusted advisor on customer engagement strategy\n \n \n Manage program risk through structured reviews, transparent reporting, and timely escalation to client and E Source leadership\n \n \n Coordinate the work of internal teams, third-party contractors, and software vendors so each contributes on schedule and to specification\n \n \n Apply Project Management Institute standards and proven delivery methods, adapting between waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches as the program requires\n \n \n Maintain integrated project schedules, financials, and resource plans, reporting variances and corrective actions clearly and early\n \n \n Oversee quality control on customer-facing deliverables, ensuring releases meet functional, regulatory, and customer experience expectations before they reach utility customers\n \n \n Coach project team members and contribute to the growth of E Source’s broader customer experience and engagement practice\n \n \n Contribute to proposals, scoping, and account growth by shaping how we package and deliver customer engagement programs for new and existing utility clients\n \n\n Qualifications\n\n \n Lead complex technology programs without losing sight of the customer experience the program is meant to improve\n \n \n Move comfortably between executive sponsors, business stakeholders, and technical teams, translating between them as needed\n \n \n Bring strong judgment to scope, sequencing, and trade-off decisions when priorities and timelines shift\n \n \n Communicate clearly in writing and in the room, and prefer plain language over jargon\n \n \n Care about the people you work with, the clients you serve, and the quality of what your team ships\n \n\n Requirements\n\n \n A minimum of eight years of project or program management experience, with at least five years in the utility, energy, or water sector\n \n \n Demonstrated experience delivering customer-facing technology programs, ideally including CIS, billing, contact center, or digital engagement platforms\n \n \n Proven ability to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams in a utility environment\n \n \n Expert command of project management tools and methodologies, including Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent\n \n \n Strong skills in critical thinking, business planning, risk management, and change management\n \n \n Excellent written and verbal communication, including comfort presenting to executive and client audiences\n \n \n Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio\n \n \n Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent demonstrated experience\n \n \n Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, business, or an equivalent body of professional experience\n \n\n Benefits\n\n \n Excellent insurance options, including medical, dental, and vision plans;
