{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"353f79a992cb8a5bdc69084e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/353f79a992cb8a5bdc69084e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/353f79a992cb8a5bdc69084e","title":"Controls Software Engineer (SCL)","description":"Stefanini Group is hiring!\nStefanini is looking for a Controls Software Engineer (SCL), Redford, MI (Hybrid)\nFor quick apply, please reach out to Pawan Rawat at pawansingh.rawat@stefanini.com/248 213 3605\n\nProvide a strong skillset and background in controls code and manufacturing controls application development and solutions for Focused Projects and Defined Priorities including IIOT and Manufacturing 4.0 initiatives.\n\nResponsibilities:\nLead projects supporting manufacturing (VO & PMTE) leveraging advanced technologies, supporting MTDC initiatives, delivering key capabilities as required, primarily in the controls software development space.\nLead projects to implement new automation systems for production lines, including PLC programming, HMI development, and data integration.\nCollaborate with cross functional teams (MFG, PD, R&A, Suppliers) to deliver planned project deliverables.\nBenchmark new advanced technologies and develop supplier partnerships to benefit future state applications.\nTeach/Coach/Mentor less experienced peers and document technical knowledge for training and solution documentation.\nEnsure the identification of lessons learned and their application to subsequent systems.\nInterface with the Manufacturing Operations to understand their technical challenges and opportunities.\n\nExperience Required:\nFully working/expert knowledge of using SCL Siemens Coding Language, years of experience applied to development (not solely maintenance or line support using these tools)\nWorking/expert knowledge of Siemens TIA, WinCC Unified, Siemens Edge Management\nStrong project management and organizational skills\n5-8+ years CONTROLS SW (not solely IT full stack code) development experience.\nDirect experience with manufacturing controls software at the plant floor end of the system (Plant, VOME, PTME, etc) Ability to work in a team environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills\nWorking/expert knowledge of version control, working with Git, Agile Scrum.\nExperience with implementing IIoT solutions using technologies like MQTT, JSON messaging, OPC UA.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nHighly motivated self-starter with drive to develop code from scratch, guided by a template architecture.\nAbility to think 'outside the box' to generate feasible and beneficial solutions to tackle complex problems\nAbility to generate new ideas to improve upon existing (legacy/traditional) processes within Manufacturing\nProficient with Microsoft Office products\nLooking for ability to stand on own in Agile Based Scrum Development Environment\nKnowledge of Mfg 4.0 (Industry 4.0) key principles - data collection, AI, machine learning, IIoT, Networking and Controls architectures including reading/editing\nEngineering Documents Knowledge\nDesire to learn and switch between programming languages.\nWeb application code development experience (HTML5, CSS, etc.)\n\nEducation Required:\nMinimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering\n\n**Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market.
