Imaging Service Engineer 1

MUST HAVEAssociates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics, biomedical engineering, or other technical discipline contributing to proficiency of maintenance and repair of imaging equipment within a healthcare environment3 years of experience within a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for the maintenance and repair of clinical devices and/or 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military trainingTechnical Duties And Responsibilities For Imagine Service Engineer 1Knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.Knowledge of basic networking theory.Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and standards.Knowledge of safety precautions when servicing high voltages and working with ionizing radiation.Ability to analyze electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical equipment.Ability to isolate, test, and replace defective parts.Ability to perform preventive maintenance inspections.Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests.Ability to run diagnostic programs.Skill in testing electronic, radiologic, and mechanical equipment.Skill in manual dexterity, hand-to-eye coordination, and color vision.Supervision ReceivedIndividual will work under supervision of Director or Imaging Supervisor.Scope Of ImpactProvides training and support to other engineers as needed.Qualifications & RequirementsBasic Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics, biomedical engineering, or other technical discipline contributing to proficiency of maintenance and repair of imaging equipment within a healthcare environmentBasic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience within a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for the maintenance and repair of clinical devices and/or 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training.
