The operator will take full ownership of the operating process to produce solid doses (tablets/capsules/soft-gels). The operator will work with a wide range of product granulations and/or gelatin materials and will be required to troubleshoot product and machine related issues. The Machine Operator is responsible for performing their job duties in a manner that meets the company standards for safety, security, and quality.\nShift\n6:00am - 6:30pm, Friday - Sunday, or as job responsibilities require.\nPay\n$22.63 - $24.89/hr + $4.00 Shift Premium!\nFunctions\nOperate tablet presses, encapsulating machines or soft-gel processing equipment to produce quality tablets/capsules/soft-gels that meet the specifications as outlined in the Master Manufacturing Record (MMR) following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)\nVerify Product Name, Number and Lot code against label\nMonitor quality of tablets, capsules, and soft-gel products by performing in-process checks, such as weight, thickness, temperature check, etc., and record results on appropriate documents\nComplete proper finishing and labeling procedures for inventory processing\nComplete necessary product transports within department\nAdjust equipment settings in order to ensure compliance to product specifications\nChange machine parts and tooling (dies, tamping pins, etc.) to ensure quality of product\nPerform machine changeovers within the established standards\nMix/Mill granulations as required\nMonitor machine operations and implement corrective action as needed\nData entry\nTroubleshoot machine and product related issues; communicate these issues to supervisor/lead\nExperience:\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment\nExperience working in a food processing environment – preferred\nExperience as a machine operator (machine operation, troubleshooting, multitasking)\nExperience working with powders and high-speed manufacturing equipment – preferred\nSpecialized Knowledge and Skills:\nStrong math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions and measurements)\nGood documentation and organizational skills\nMechanical aptitude\nComputer knowledge – Microsoft Office\nAbility to use measuring instruments and simple hand tools\nAbility to interpret and follow\nAbility to troubleshoot\nAbility to communicate professionally\nCapable of lifting and moving heavy equipment parts and containers.\nMust be able to work with known allergens or irritants (Fish oil, enzymes, etc.)\nBenefits Package\nStandard Process is proud to be a top workplace.
