Due to the daily driving tasks and other assigned duties, this position is required to work in person on-site.Core Value Expectations\r\nActively pursue high character, high trust, and high performance personally, corporately, and in all aspects of the position.\r\nProvide distinctive quality and unparalleled customer service both internally and externally.\r\nDemonstrate and promote integrity, respect, and teamwork.\r\nInvite others to help you grow through living authentically with nothing to prove, lose, or hide.\r\nEvidence humility by actively receiving teaching and mentoring.Duties and Responsibilities\r\nMaintain regular and predictable attendance and report to work as scheduled\r\nSome overnight travel required\r\nProvide excellent customer service and reflect our companys core values at all times\r\nDrive vehicles to transport materials to and from specified destinations and adhere to all jobsite-specific instructions communicated\r\nMaintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition and DOT compliant\r\nConduct Daily Inspections, including pre- and post-trip inspections; making fluid level, air pressure, mechanical, and all other adjustments required based on inspection results\r\nPerform emergency repairs such as installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains\r\nReport on any mechanical problems encountered with any equipment used\r\nLoad and unload trucks, move materials within yard or work site, or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or by yard truck\r\nResponsible for installation of strapping, bracing, or padding to materials, including placement and tightening of restraints before departure to prevent shifting or damage in transit\r\nLoad, transport, unload QSI equipment and complete company documentation\r\nTake photographs of all deliveries, pickups, and upload them to company software\r\nUse of phone and tablet-based company applications and software\r\nObey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures\r\nRead maps, follow written/verbal geographic directions by taking the most direct route to and from destination while avoiding unnecessary stops\r\nReport delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to the Logistics Manager\r\nMaintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations\r\nExhibit a positive and professional disposition\r\nPerform other duties as assigned\r\nComplies with QSI policies and procedures\r\nThis job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
