Requires commercial driver's license.\nEssential Qualifications, Duties, and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)\nCheck vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.\nReport vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.\nPerforming routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.\nCheck all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.\nOperate equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones, to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.\nMaintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.\nManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.\nPhysical Demands: The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\nCDL Drivers/Truck Drivers must be willing to comply with PCM Health, Safety, and Environmental rules and regulations.
