Empowering People's Independence (EPI), provides support for people with developmental disabilities, epilepsy, and brain injury through progressive, tailored care to improve their health, wellbeing, independence, and social inclusion. Job Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to provide training and support to Self-Hired direct support professionals (DSPs). Provide guidance and address any performance or disciplinary issues.Track and monitor annual training completion for all DSPs, ensuring adherence to OPWDD and EPI training requirements.Reviews and approves DSPs payroll entries daily. Track payroll submissions, identify potential issues, and communicate promptly to resolve discrepancies.Ensure the timely completion and submission of billing in accordance with Medicaid and agency regulations.Collaborate with Coordinators, Program Managers, and Supervisors to ensure consistency and accuracy of documentation.Assist DSPs in reviewing and completing monthly summaries to ensure accuracy and compliance in accordance with OPWDD and agency regulations.Consult with the Human Resources and Finance Departments, as needed regarding employee, payroll, or other staffing related issues. Non-Essential Functions:Other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.Participate on various EPI committees as able. Compliance:Must maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion concerning all business-related matters, including but not limited to board/vendors/donors names, investigations, finance, operations, and employee relations matters.Must be willing to complete specific company required training as mandated by our governing agency, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), at time of hire and annually thereafter.Must always adhere to all departmental /company policies & procedures. Education and Experience:Minimum High School Diploma with two (2) years of Human Service or customer experience, bachelor's degree preferred with one (1) year of Human Service experience.
