{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"34e697898fa680b22c06fde6","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/34e697898fa680b22c06fde6","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/34e697898fa680b22c06fde6","title":"Technical Advisor - Architect Level","description":"Job TitleSeeking a C2C candidate located in the specified area.\r\nJob DescriptionRepresent the Agency to provide oversight on the business, technical design and delivery of vendor solutions.\r\nFacilitate and lead the legacy system transition activities to Program Administration solutions.\r\nAnalyze technology solutions, conduct technology assessments, identify gaps and provide recommendations.\r\nIn an outsourcing environment, work closely with service providers to ensure their in-scope business and technical solutions are consistent with the enterprise’s business strategy and architecture.\r\nReport to the Lead Enterprise Architect on all technical delivery related topics.\r\nMay troubleshoot performance issues and resolve problems with service providers.\r\nAnalyze technology industry and market trends and maintain knowledge of new technologies to determine potential impacts to business unit service requests and service provider proposals.\r\nUnderstand the value of technology in the enterprise’s business processes, work with service providers to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction and improved efficiencies and review service provider solutions.\r\nLead, advise, consult, and collaborate with the Agency on topics such as:\r\nImplementation of vendor solutions to conform with business architecture, business processes, enterprise architecture and ongoing refinement activities\r\nLegacy Systems transition, cutover, and sunset planning activities\r\nTechnical Documentation maintenance activities\r\nVendor contract estimates and designs\r\nIntegration and Interoperability of business and technical services\r\nReview the vendor’s business and technical deliverables to ensure they conform to the Agency’s technical standards, contract and industry standards.\r\nFacilitate technical review meetings with the Agency and vendors.\r\nWork with the vendors and the Release Managers on the deployment activities for vendor solutions.\r\nParticipate in various activities such as:\r\nArchitecture Review Board Meetings\r\nTechnical Issue Resolution reviews\r\nTechnical Standards Committee meetings\r\nTechnical design and architecture reviews\r\nProgram Administration module vendor deliverables\r\nRequired Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMinimum of 5+ Years Business and Technical Architecture design and implementation experience, including systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations.\r\n5+ Years Leadership experience managing large, cross-functions teams and projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders. This is not a developer role.\r\n5+ Years Health & Human Services (HHS) experience at a senior architect level. Preference to candidates with experience in Medicaid. Should be fully conversant in various domains of Medicaid such as Recipient, Provider.\r\nMinimum of 5+ years of Medicaid technology experience including MMIS experience at a solution architect level.\r\nProven ability to quickly earn the trust of peers and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity.\r\nAbility to navigate matrix organizations effectively.\r\nResults-oriented, diligent, and works with a sense of urgency.
